Delicate butterfly wings made of polished Montana Agate-true Montana art created from Montana's Gemstone, Montana Agate-each one as unique as the fern like and branch effect of trees grass and shrubery that are produced by metallic oxides that crept into fissures in soft rock when the world was young.The agate is harvested from the Yellowstone River, just out our back door at Terry Montana. The hard rock is cut into slabs by local artist Edna Rogerson, who then cuts, shapes and polishes them into these one of a kind creations!
